Amending your store's 3DS service


When accessing the administration section of your store, only users with Super User access will have the ability to access this functionality. If you do not have the applicable user role, please liaise with your internal Primary Contact for PayU to have this access enabled on your account.


  1. Log in to the Merchant Portal (https://merchantportal.payu.co.za) with your email address and password.

  2. Once logged in, click “Stores” on the left navigation menu:

  3. All stores linked to your user account will be displayed.

  4. Click the + icon alongside the store name you would like to amend.

  5. Click the “Admin” button within the “Store details” section:


  6. The “Store Administration” screen will be displayed.

  7. Select the relevant 3D Secure service which you would like to apply:

  8. Click “Save”

  9. If the “Save” is successful, the change will be applied immediately and all transactions initiated after the change will utilise the selected 3D Secure service.
