How to retrieve your Store's API Credentials
When integrating you will require a Safekey, Webservice (aka SOAP) username and password in order for your website/application to interact with the PayU services. These details are the unique identifiers PayU uses to identify transactions coming to your store.

Once your merchant portal account has been activated you will need to retrieve your store's production details. If you have not yet activated your merchant portal account please view instructions here
Please pass the Safekey, webservice username and password to your developer/technical team in order to integrate your website with PayU

Follow the steps below to obtain your store API credentials .
- Log in to the PayU Merchant Portal ( https://merchantportal.payu.co.za ) with the primary merchant account and password.
- From the left sidebar - Go to Stores
The integration details page contains the following information when expanded:
Parameter Description Store Name The name of your Store with Payu Store ID The Payu generated store ID Phone Number Phone Number listed with Payu Email Email Address listed with Payu Webservice username Webservice/SOAP username used by the merchant to transact against the PayU API Webservice password Webservice/SOAP password used by the merchant to transact against the PayU API Safekey Safekey used by the merchant to transact against the PayU API
