Credit Card (RPP)

Description

The credit card service allows a merchant to reserve funds and settle later (RESERVE followed by a FINALIZE call) or reserve and settle in one step (PAYMENT call). The choice of implementation is completely up to the merchant, but reserving and finalize in one step (PAYMENT) is the simplest and most often used process.

Screen flows

The steps below follow after the customer has elected to pay through PayU on the merchant's site. They follow after the redirect from the merchant's checkout page.

  1. RPP >> Select credit card

    On this page the customer presented with the option to pay by Credit Card.  The screens that follow assume the customer elected to pay by Credit Card.  This merchant store is only configured for Credit Card transactions, but several other payment methods exist.   2. RPP >> Provide credit card details

    After providing the relevant details in the fields supplied, the customer completes the payment by clicking the 'Pay now' button.

    During testing you can use these test credentials instead of real credit card details.

  3. RPP >> Payment confirmation

    Upon receiving confirmation that the transaction was successful, the following screen will be displayed by PayU.  If the initial call to PayU contained a notification URL
