What is Click to pay?

Click to pay is a secure online account which allows consumers to simply store their card information once and never have to re-enter it again when shopping online at merchants who offer the click to pay option.

Click to pay is based on the EMV® Secure Remote Commerce (SRC) Specification, a global industry standard established to provide a consistent, simple user experience at checkout.

How does PayU work with Click to pay?

PayU’s Click to pay integration allows a customer to make a payment for merchant products and services using their stored payment information within their Click to pay account. A consumer would select the Click to pay payment option, login using their email address, select a stored payment method and click Pay.

How do I integrate with PayU’s Click to pay payment method?

The Click to pay payment method is offered on both the Redirect Payment Page and Enterprise API integration method.

Note: This is the former Visa Checkout payment method which has transitioned to the new Click to pay standard.
